Technically the most accurate terminology for a Bulletproof Vest is a Bullet-Resistant Vest or Anti-Ballistic Vest or Body Armor. No vest is 100% completely bulletproof - shoot enough rounds at any vest and it will break down and penetrations of the bulletproof panel will happen.
